TierCreator Privacy Policy

TierCreator is operated by james.business. You can use it without creating an account.

Information we handle

Your tier lists, titles, text, selected images, templates, and preferences are stored on your device. Creating or editing a tier list does not upload that content to our server. If you choose to share or export something, iOS handles it according to your instructions.

When you use image search, the app sends your search text and related search options to our server and search providers so results can be returned. Some search suggestions and Google Images results may be requested directly from Google. Search results may be cached temporarily to make repeated searches faster. Google handles information it receives under the Google Privacy Policy.

TierCreator uses TelemetryDeck to understand general feature usage and app performance. This may include an anonymized installation identifier and basic app or device information, but not your tier-list titles, text, or images. See the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy.

When TierCreator enters the foreground, it makes one small request to ask our server whether the developer’s private live dashboard is enabled. If the dashboard is disabled, TierCreator does not open the monitoring connection or send live activity. When the developer temporarily enables the dashboard, TierCreator sends an anonymous indication of which broad section of the app is open: Home screen, In project, Tile editing, In settings, or Image search. This signal does not include tier-list titles, text, images, search queries, or a persistent device identifier.

If you contact us or send feedback, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your message and email address, along with basic app and device information that helps us troubleshoot. Our servers and service providers also process ordinary technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to operate and protect online features.

How we use information

We use information to provide image search and support, improve features, understand general usage, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use it for targeted advertising.

How information is shared

We share information with search, analytics, hosting, and support providers only as needed to operate TierCreator, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information, show third-party ads, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

We require providers acting for us to use information only for the services they provide and to protect it to the same or an equivalent standard as this policy.

Retention and deletion

Information stored on your device remains there until you delete it or uninstall the app. Server records, cached search results, analytics, and feedback are kept only as reasonably needed to provide the service, improve reliability, respond to support, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.

You may request deletion of information linked to you through the app's Feedback screen. TierCreator has no user accounts, and some aggregated or de-identified information may not be linkable to a particular person.

Your choices

You can use TierCreator without image search or feedback, control photo and camera access in iOS, delete local content in the app, or uninstall the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal information.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
